On the 3rd October 2021 our COO, Simon Dunning, joined 80,000 other participants in running the gruelling 26.2 mile course.
Simon, and his wife Marie, both ran the London marathon for Bloodwise, a wonderful charity that raises money for research into Blood Cancer in the UK. If you would like to donate, you can do via our JustGiving page.

Simon joins Nomical having 12 years experience in the IT Sector having worked for Banks, Government and Medical companies.
Simon really loves music and plays a variety of instruments. You’re just as likely to see him at a gig as you are in front of his PC.
Joe joins Nomical from the telecoms industry with experience in provisioning, specialising in fibre and radio connectivity for companies all over the UK and worldwide.
Joe is an avid gamer who has competed in professional competitions and has managed and owned his own competitive gaming organisations.
Colin has 10 years’ experience within Telecoms, working for the likes of Virgin Media Business, Vodafone, right through to independent ISP’s and Channel Distributors.
Colin is a big Liverpool FC supporter, once met Vanilla Ice at the Midland Hotel in Manchester during his bleached dreadlock stage, was very starstruck while having lunch with Kenny Dalglish before an old firm game in Glasgow and has completed Metal Gear Solid 3.
Connie joins Nomical Provisioning team with 8 years’ experience in telecoms/ PBX & connectivity project management.
Connie is a massive ice hockey fan, is a season ticket holder to Manchester Storm and supports the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL.
Robin joins Nomical from the telecoms industry with 14 years’ experience in Provisioning; having specialised in secure private networks for retail.
Fun Fact: As an American football fan, Robin goes to watch a London game every year, and is the ‘Commissioner’ of a fantasy football league. He has completed the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride on four occasions.
Jon joins Nomical with 12 years experience in Support, working with customers both remotely and onsite. He previously worked for Vinci Energies Nordic and Volvo IT in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Fun Fact: Jon recently relocated to Manchester from Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a big Manchester City fan and has a Viking beard (hence the nickname Viking).
Kai joins Nomical as an Apprentice Field Engineer with previous experience in customer service. Kai will be studying towards his Level 3 Infrastructure Technician qualification over the next year whilst he gains experience on site with our experienced Field Engineers.
Fun Fact: Kai once fell into a canal on a bike ride and was rescued by his older brother.
